Rope is a 60-meter-long, 30 cm thick, handwoven sculpture. First created in 2017, it is made of foam, webbing, wood, and human actions.

Rather than being a fixed object, Rope functions as an evolving form. Spincemaille places it in public, real-world contexts where people encounter it, ignore it, reshape it, claim it. Rope is an act and a sculpture, its meaning and poetry arise from the imagination and actions of the people who interact with it. The final shape is never predetermined, it emerges through interaction, negotiation, and environment. All actions are spontaneous, improvised, and unannounced. These shifting forms reflect a continuous dialogue between artistic intention and public response. The entire process is documented through photographs and written observations.
