Little moon and little sun

Just like a thermometer gives an indication of the temperature, the “Little sun and Little moon” apparatus give us an indication of the presence and light intensity of the sun and moon.

After you have set your position on earth on the unit (latitude and longitude), two small LED lights will exactly follow the rising, setting and light intensity of the sun and moon. And this for every day of the year. When the moon appears at the horizon, which is not always visible during daytime, the little moon led will slowly begin to glow. When the moon is fully above the horizon, the led light will burn at full strength. The intensity of the little moon led also depends on the phase of the moon. The little sun led runs through a similar pattern, but follows the setting and rising of the sun.
