French composer and sound artist Franck Vigroux, French installation artist Félicie d’Estienne d’Orves and Belgian video artist Kurt d’Haeseleer collaborated on a new creation entitled ‘Ruines’, a co-production with Werktank.

Starting point of this new work at the crossroads of performance, installation, film and dance, is our human fascination with catastrophes and disasters. ‘Ruines’ is a sensory odyssey that weaves a three-dimensional image in which algorithms with high frequencies collide with hallucinatory experiences, body mutations in a perverted nature, declining objects and landscapes, … These uncontrollable phenomena lead to the appearance of contemporary ruins and post-apocalyptic spaces.
