Kurina Sohn

Kurina Sohn is a multidisciplinary designer based in Amsterdam. She is fascinated by the exploration of realms, life forms, and narratives that transcend the ordinary. The projects are rooted in extensive research and adopt a poetic lens to craft fluid and inclusive interpretations of contemporary realities. The creative process involves tools and technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital fabrication, and immersive installation. She was a member of the Crossmedia design lecturer at AKI ArtEZ. She co-initiated a fluid Asian collective called NeeNee Collective. She is involved in residencies, grants, and exhibits internationally: Z33, V2_Unstable Media(Rotterdam, NL), and Het Nieuwe Instituut(Rotterdam, NL).

In the context of CODE 2024, she created the work meta:morphosis together with Amber Macintyre,Cyan D’Anjou, Dorijn Boogaard and Aleksandra Naydenova.
