Bjørn Erik Haugen
Bjørn Erik Haugen is an artist, composer and artist researcher. He works mainly with sculpture, sound- and video installation. He works from a conceptual platform where the idea to the work comes before the material, media or way of expression. In his research and works he often problematizes surveillance and control mechanisms in society and in knowledge-disciplines.
In the context of CODE 2024, he created the work Dual Narratives with Colas Fiszman and Marcel Top.

Bjørn Erik Haugen is kunstenaar, componist en onderzoeker. Hij werkt voornamelijk met beeldhouwkunst, geluids- en video-installatie. Hij werkt vanuit een conceptueel platform waarbij het idee voor het werk vóór het materiaal, de media of de manier van uitdrukken komt. In zijn onderzoek en werk problematiseert hij vaak toezicht- en controlemechanismen in de maatschappij en in kennisdisciplines.
In het kader van CODE 2024 creëerde hij samen met Marcel Top en Colas Fiszman het werk Dual Narratives.
